^^ really i see a bunch of people with the Blade sport TCT I'm not planning on doing cams ect. I have been fixing all my current rattles with making sure all bolts are tight, my hardtop latches now all have foam in them.

Numerous allegations regarding Ballade business practices here as well as timing chain damage using their chain tensioner. None regarding the Billman unit. Take your choice. I selected the Billman unit 4 years ago. Plus Bill supports this forum.

Oh boy here we go again.

Just to be clear, the Ballade Sports TCT isnt a BAD part. Its just when you compare it to the Billman Gen X TCT, theres really no reason why you would go with the Ballade Sports one. Billmans is cheaper, has had zero issues (seriously, look through this forums, id bet you'd have a hard time finding a single complaint about the actual part in the last 15+ years), and will last the lifetime of the car. Think about it this way. Buying a Ballade Sports TCT is like buying a BMW, and Buying a Billman TCT is like buying a Honda. You already know which car is going to last longer and which one has the reputation of reliability.
