Hello guys , i want to sell my subaru wrx for an s2000 .. it doesent even snow here [ 20 minutes from city ] I listed some pros and cons of why i wana sell wrx for s2000 u guys give me some more

[/B]pros to buy s2k
- [/I] better gas mileage than wrx
- I hear the tranny is soo smooth and wont break if you launch [ confirm that please]
- wont have to drive others [ only 2 seats ]
- girls love it
- thinkin insurance will be less than a turbocharged wrx?
- absolute blast in the summer
- honda is reliable

[B]cons to get s2k and sell wrx
- RWD [ snow storms ill be sittin inside ]
- comfort room [ im almost 6'4 ] space is tight as possible without bein uncomfortable
- have to assimilate with the honda ricer community even tho s2k is on a diff. plateau
- can be considered as not a daily driver

help me out add more to each of lists

 

Close your eyes and imagine you just bought the S2K, it's a beautful day and the sun is shining, you push the button and start the car and your favorite song comes on the radio as if by magic. You pull the E-brake and unlatch the clamps, then you hit the switch and drop the top and the biggest smile in your adult life (well ... maybe the 2nd biggest) comes across your face and you realize without a doubt in your mind that you made the right decision.

Sure there are some drawbacks, but once you find yourself in that situation I just described none of them will really matter, trust me ...

If you have an STI I'd probably say, "don't do it". If its a regular WRX, then, what the hell, why not? You gotta own at least one convertible in your life! Also, the S2k is a much better looking ride than the Scooby! I wouldn't count on the insurance being any lower though.

 

haha well yeah my wrx can beat stis .. the only thing i hate about wrx is the " glass tranny " i hear the s2000 tranny is smooth as hell and you can launch once in while without worrying about it

 

CMON GUYS I NEED MORE RESPONSES !!

 

No car is bulletproof but the S is a tough carm some of the AP1's have had clutch issues but not allm and the rear diff isn't as strong as you'd think. But other than that it's up to you and how the car will suit your lifestyle.
