Now then, Im Dean.

Thinkin bout takin the plunge...

jus few questions.

-Is the cabin cold in winter? What are the heaters like? I own a VX220 now and the cabin is too cold which is one of the main reasons im deciding to get rid!!!

- What to look out for on really early models....lookin to buy a 99 or 00 model.

- what are servicing costs like?

- What MPG do you ppl achieve?? states about 29mpg... whats the real damage?

- Whats that screen in the dash?????

- Is this a good deal?

Hey Dean, go ahead and take that plunge, you won't regret the fun factor. Just have it inspected by a mechanic who knows S2K's (pay particular attention to retainers... don't want to swallow a valve before the fun really gets started ). I don't drive it during winter, but the heater is more than adequate for the spring and fall driving that I do. The heater is great. Makes the cabin very warm. But hey, who needs a heater, when you drive with the top down?

..ok, ok, I do use the heater with the top down.
