Playing Catch-up: 2001 maintenance
Ugh so all my parts are here... I'm really not looking forward to to this... the smart thing would be to blend this all... which means I have to gut the interior and pull the softtop.. at least to the point i can remove the rear moulding...
ugh...
ugh...
How many hours do you think you have into this repair project? Keep us posted on the progress. It is cool to see a pictorial as the project continues.
I am getting antsy to do some things to my car but then I realize that I have at least 4 months to go before it ventures out of the garage. I'm stuck in Iowa for at least 5 more years.

probably 19 hours as I've bagged and labeled everything in the process...
Paint & Buffung & blending, probably ~ 20 hours. Then reassembly and proper torque, as well as adjusting will probably be another 19-25 hours.
So 60 hour job... lol lots of beer.
That is a lot of hours. I guess it gives you a chance to further deep clean the car since you can clean and/or refresh each part/nut/bolt individually during the reassembly. That would be satisfying for me as I really appreciate clean everything.
