Organic clutch it'll be then James ! Clutch dumps aren't my favourites but I want a clutch which can give me peace of mind whenever I want a very quick but smooth getaway ! Having the car remain streetable is of paramount importance to me...the wife would kill me if she cannot drive it ! (it was part of the deal I made with her that if I get this car, I wouldn't modify it in such a way as to render it undrivable for her ! LOL ! )

Thanks,

Pierre.

the oem clutch is good up to 300 whp, that should not be a problem. going with a pucked clutch if you will is going to make for a hellacious time starting the car from light to light. do make sure when you replace the clutch you also replace the pressure plate. i honestly would stay oem, your biggest help would be to remove the cdv if you are going to play alot. the cdv makes for smoother clutch engagement and with the heavier flywheel keeps the drivetrain from feeling shock. i went back to oem clutch just for fyi after having a stage three clutch installed. if you want aftermarket, the toda clutch and flywheel were nice while i had that installed for sometime. the engagement and ease of driving with factory clutch keeps it fun. just my .02.

I swore I would keep this car stock ! I've only had it for 2 weeks and the blinkin' clutch would have to go ! My dilemma is oem clucth (and expect it to fail again) or organic clutch ( and not expect it to fail but for it to break something else in the transmission).

To all of you have given me very good advice so far, I have this question : What would you do if you were in my situation ? (and bearing in mind that I do not intend drag racing it but I would expect the clutch to be able to withstand a couple of spritely standing-starts every now and then)

Anxiously awaiting your valid contributions,

pfspeeddemon.
