i agree, winter is the best to buy convtertible...i have even seen local 2005 with 3000 miles goes as low as $25000 with full warranty. that's aprox $9000 saved.
Here I thought that $22.995 for my totally cherry '03 with hardtop and 14,777 miles was a great deal.

[QUOTE=Chazmo,May 25 2006, 04:54 PM] Connor,

I assume you mean that dealer cost is approx. 10% less than sticker, right?

I sure hope so. If an S2000 cost the dealer about $3400.00, I'm going to find mine and put a hit on him.
ofcourse I meant 10% of sticker...to think that an S is 3400 dealer cost is not worth addressing, BTW Bitsa.fraudulent might be a strong term regarding aftersell again if anyone buys that shit it's on them...let the buyer beware, but thankfully when I sold cars there were enough idiots to go around so I made a great living selling stripes, paint sealant ey al.....all profit

Indeed. I will, however, stick by my original employment of the term "fraudulent" in that salespeople do in fact lie about the effectiveness of the worthless crap they sell as "extras."

I must agree........you know how you can tell if a car salesman is lying? His lips are moving...we always stuck to the age old tenant "if you can't fill'em with facts baffle em with bullshit"

As many of you know the search feature is down and i cannot find the info i need. I'm trying to buy an 06 s2k in santa clara, CA. I was quoted at 32600+ about 10% more for taxes and dealer fees. so it comes out to 35622.96. Tax rate is 8.25% in cali. What is considered a decent to good price on an 06 and how much did you 06 guys pay? thanks for the help.

In the "S2000 losing value?, Brand New S2000 @ $31,xxx" thread in this forum, Humantek posted that his buddy picked up a new Laguna Blue 2006 for $29,350 + fees. Humantek is in the East Bay but I don't know where his buddy bougth the S. I'll still use this as the price to beat should I go for a 2006, pending a deal on a 2005.
