i paid around 30k+ fees in so cal. monrovia to be exact. so shop around

Always get it a few hundred under invoice. If you can get it to under $30k, then w00w. I want you with me when I get my next car. Tax and tags aren't something you can negotiate, so whatever. I have heard of dealers throwing out the tag fee for some really good hagglers though.

I paid invoice plus dealer fee around $31,683 if I am not mistaken...plus I did not pay tax had my previous car (STI) which I sold and ran it through as a trade (legally of course)

CA law doesn't wash out the taxes when you trade a car in. GHEY.

don't pay over invoice, you can probably get one below invoice even in NORCAL. PM me if you need any help.

thanks for all the help and responses but there is a lease special for 3600 initial amount and 299 for 3 years with 12k miles right now. Sounds a bit more interesting since financing rates arent looking too good for me right now.

Make sure you negotiate the lease as well- there is a lot of room in it(at least $1K).
