S2000 Market Prices
Thanks to FrostyWinters for the pricing info....
I'm looking at a new 2006 Laguna Blue Pearl. Supposedly there's only two here in Colorado. Anyway, we're at $30,599 + $399 "dealer handling fee". Working to get it down to low $30,xxx WITH the $399 fee.
First time poster...hoping to be first time owner soon.
Great forum!

Well, some airheads at my dealership just bought 4 NFR from a Miami dealership. FOUR! IN THE SAME COLOR! So we got a surplus of S2000s on the lot, and now they are trying to unload them....

Frosty, sorry. That's not allowed. If your guys want to talk about becoming sponsors with the admins, that's cool, but you can't do a commercial advert like that here. Sorry. Editing post.

Any more info on 07 pricing ? Prelim shopping on my end shows:
30,838 invoice on Edmunds ( not including dest of 595 )
so dealer invoice is about 31433.
I was verbally quoted $500 over invoice , or 31,9xx + tax , title, licence.
We know their holdback is just over 1K ( so REAL invoice is 30,4xx including freight ) , so how does this pricing sound? Should I wait a month? Math correct?
Thanks, Doug

Would it be safe to say that waiting for december would be the best choice. Lease offers should be available then for the 07 models and dealers will be trying to move inventory for year-end.
Aren,
Traditionally, S2000 prices drop in the winter. If you buy an MY07 now, you'll be paying extra for the new model year. That said, if you can find a new MY06, you should be able to get a screaming deal now (whereas such a car might be gone by winter).
As for leases... I don't know.
