Should I Buy An S2000?
PRO: turns heads all day long, get plenty of respect, get all the chicks, conv top for the summer(awesome!), fast, great handling, great interior, great looks outside, 6 spd, one push of a button to start the S, and ect.
CONS: quite lavish, small and only seats 2(good for you if you only drive your GF around), slow off the line, but fast once you hit 6500 rpm, small trunk, and that is it!

no other naturally aspirated car redlines at 9,000RPMs (4cyl)
no other car has 120HP/Litre on a (non-turbo)
the handling on the baby is like a rollercoaster ride
as far as stereo sound? well, it could be better!
some people say that it isnt a drag car ability...thats not true...it all depends on the driver
ive ran a breathe taking 8.9 sec. on the 1/8th of a mile track.
thats no turbo/NOS...
i raced a 2002 ford lightning a V8 supercharger that has
almost 400HP. the results were close. the truck ran 8.7 sec.
i ran 8.9 ive really do all my racing on the streets. the car
will take off like it has rockets on the back boosting! no car
as ever beat me on take off. my victim's are:
'98 corvette, transam, camaro SS, Z28, 5.0 mustang, 4.6L
mustang gt, GTP gandprix, '98 toyota supra turbo, 350Z, wrx,
CB-R 600, gsx/gst eclipse, rsx type s, 300 zx twin turbo,
3000 GT, etc...
cant always win, if been defeated by: wrx sti, evo 7, rsx type s w/turbo, transam ram air, rx7 twin turbo,
z28 w/nos, CB-R 900...
just remember no other 4cyl. stock can beat V8's like S2000...
now i have a vortech supercharger, apexi vtec controller, hks hyper exhaust, dc headers, ACT drag clutch, head gasket
spacers, and g-force t/a drag radial sticky tires... as far as
performance. my time at the 1/8 ml. run is 7.8 sec. and my
1/4 ml. time is 12.02 sec.
(BUT) i have been through 1 reer end, 1 trans., 1 clutch, and new spark plug wires... as far as performance wise, its alright i like it. just dont expect 2hr road trips to be comfortable and you can count out on buying grocerys, theres no room!
if anybody got any comments email me at Liquid_201@excite.com or find me on here as Syello
pros: great looking, good horsepower and 6spd
cons: should all the engine failures be considered as a con? I just bought an 01' with 23K miles on it and im really worried after reading all that stuff, some guy just posted in the under the hood forum that there have been over 2500 recorded engine failures, i thought it wasnt even close to that amount???
