Well depends what your used to. I have been driving for 6 years so it seems natural now.

Out of interest, I know the car comes with a CAT 1 alarm as standard, but is it worth getting another one? E.g. Motion sensor/perimeter alarm? I have a nagging feeling some pikey scum will want to try it on.

Welcome to the board, UK!

There's been a lot of discussion about alarms around here over the past few months. Try looking around with the search tab for relevant posts. One thread had the title "Can my S be stolen"...

Anyway, best wishes.

And welcome to you too, redstartbutton. You won't be disappointed! Plus, there are a bunch of owners in the bay area.

You'll make quick work of the trolleys, redstart!

well, after reading this post i am pretty i am going to get myself an S2000. My friend just got one and he loves it, plus all i have ever driven are automatic SUVs (Jeep Cherokee and Infiniti QX4) and i figure while i am in college now is as good a time as ever to get a sports car. I just hope i don't wrap myself around a tree seeing as how this is the first time if will have driven a RWD sportscar. But hey gotta learn to drive one sometime. Plus i have the Jeep Cherokee that i am keeping incase i need to haul something. So hopefully as of this coming march i will be purchasing a Black/Black S2000

Great stuff, newbies. Look forward to welcoming you aboard as owners.

dub, there are all kinds of things you'll hear about on this board. This is where you see the problems. Honda dealers are an inconsistent lot; some are quite good, others downright atrocious. Problem with the car, yeah, there are quite a few that affect a minority of the owners on the board. My general impression is that AHM (Honda dealers' parent company in US) has treated most of the serious problems fairly. Not all. The great thing about this board is that you'll hear about just about everything. It's a real resource.

I can only tell you that the car is a joyous experience to drive and to be seen in. Problems could afflict your car, no question, but all in all I don't think it's significantly worse than any other performance car... You wanna pop for a Porsche or even something more expensive... fine. Here, most of us think the Honda is a downright steal of a value and can warm your heart without sending you to the poor house.

Of course, then there's mods....

OH, hey, redstart... Nice choice for color I thought the blue might get old after a while. I cannot tell you how many compliments I've received on the color, and I love it just as much as ever.
