I think the daily driver issue depends on your route and location. I live in Texas so a lot of the year the top is usable, also my daily drive is short but there's some fun bits. I agree that if all you do is boring interstate than this should be a secondary, but I'll have plenty of chances to rev the hell out of my car legally. The road outside of where I work is two lanes, nice pavement and not heavy in traffic with a 55mph speed limit, with a couple bends and stops there's good fun every day. Not to mention I avoid rush hour traffic like the plague and it's viability as a DD comes together in my mind. I understand wanting to save the life of your car, but to me I'll be happy to fix it. I study how things fail and how to prevent it for a living so maybe I'm biased, engineering is like 90% fixing things.

Ok so Subaru just unveiled the new 2015 STI......and I am extremely turned on.

Within 2-3 years time after I finish school I'm definitely feeling the STI if I find all S2k's on sale by then to be high mileage.....plus with the Subaru it would be a much newer car. Has anyone owned and S2k and experienced a WRX/STI? I'd be curious to what you all think.
