Default Starting up after an accident

I have purchased a category D damaged car and have carried out the necessary repairs, only trouble is it wont start, i think it could be the immobiliser or the alarm system, i can get it turing over, is this normal with the immobiliser on? if any one has any suggestions they will be greatly appriciated.

You'll get more response in the Under the Hood section, but I'd start by trying to roll-start the car to see if it fires (you said turn over, but does it run?). If you can get it running after a roll start, you can focus on the electrical system. Check for shorts or broken connections, and work back from the starter motor.

Or the fuel cut off switch is "activated".
You have to press the button on top to let fuel reach the engine again.
Its located above the hood release, also where the fuse box is.
But on a right hand drive car it could be somewhere else, I donno.
Good luck

Can you take it to a dealer? Ultimately, if it's an immobilizer problem, that's the only way you can get your keys matched to the ECU.

It is probably the fuel cut off, see it in the owners handbook
