Why wouldn't you get a Porsche Boxster over the S?

I thought about the Boxster before I got my S. I don't have any of the usual hangups- I like the look, I'm not a racer so the power would have been fine, and I'm secure enough to drive it despite the "image." I just wanted a sports car and don't care what other people think.

In the end I went with the S because in my price range it was a choice btw a pretty clapped out Boxster or a really prestine S. That and if anything does go wrong, I'd rather not be dealing with a Porsche service prices.

Guys, I've driven many P-cars and the Boxster is one of the nicest of the bunch in terms of handling. Yes I have driven the regular Boxster and S model back to back.....

Besides all the higher maintenance costs and other things mentioned I see one important fact that does make the Boxster a nicer choice for me....

Being a 6'2" tall guy, the Boxster is sooo much more roomy! The passenger seat I can even live with but not in the s2000.

Of course comparing dollar to dollar, the s2000 does what I want and is fun to mod. The P-car costs more since I would want at least a 2005 model and not keen to modding. Add to it that I already have other luxury cars to drive I want something for pure fun thus the s2k is my ticket
