Yes it is the resonated version. I kind of wondered the same thing about the weight, but Hunter did say they weighed everything when it arrived. I want to say that some of it was still in the box when weighed. That could have something to do w/ it, but who knows?
That is correct. When we weighed the Amuse products, we weighed them while they were still packaged. I prefer not to weigh a client's titanium products while exposed unless I have latex gloves. The oil on a person's skin will transfer onto a titanium product and if the product isn't thoroughly washed after handling, the moment that exhaust heats up the oil will be permanently burned into the exhaust forever. We made an exception with the cat when we took pictures because it is so rare. Of course we thoroughly cleaned it afterwards.

Well guys, here are a few pictures, and the dyno results from the install. A little less than half of what hoped to get power wise (from misc. info. gathered from different threads), but what a weight difference! The exhaust weighed in at just 9.5 ibs. compared to the almost 50 ib. factory exhaust. The guys that did the install (MVP Motorsports at Bridgeport, TX) were absolutely blown away by the quality of the welds (all hand welded). Anyway, check it out.

Hope this info. is helpful to everyone!

I should have some sound clips/video up very soon. This set up sounds sounds VERY agressive even w/ the resonator! I love it!

PS is most closely related to flywheel HP so that's a 25HP gain at the crank not to the wheels.

PS is about .985 of 1 HP. Has nothing to do with crank versus wheel.

Very nice stuff, Mason! I love that exhaust manifold! I really want to see that setup with a good tune, I feel like you'll get some major gains. This is just the start.

This is probably the most depressing forum ive ever read about $4000 maybe more for a 1whp gain up top and 3whp gain below curve. Hell, it could be no gain at all as your car can vary on by +or- 1 or 2 whp run for run. Cut your losses, sell it and buy a supercharger. The weight savings is nice, but about the same can be had when removing the spare tire and tools. And its not enough enough weight savings to make much of a difference. Great looking parts, but so is a blower or slug.

Not to mention, those numbers are very low for even a stock ap2. I would hope mine dyno'd more then that out of the showroom floor. Maybe there is something wrong with your car? it just doesnt seem right to spend that much on high quality parts and dyno less then most stock ap2's.

The numbers are no doubt low, but from what I've seen, the stock numbers I thought were about in line for wheel hp. Being fairly new to the S2K community however, I could be wrong. The total figure actualy ran closer to $6900. If you were depressed before my friend.....

$6900 WOWWOWOWOW. You can get a reliable 400whp for that much, maybe enough some excess for suspension mods. AP1 typically dyno at the numbers your producing between 195-200whp stock; whereas, ap2's dyno around 205-210whp stock. But hey if you have that kind of money for bolt ons props you to. So i guess your numbers are not low enough for something to be wrong with car based on stock dyno, but i would assume that maybe you have an exhaust leak or something. I just cant believe only 1whp for that kinda cash.

Wow, that is surprising. I would think either (1) there was some problem with the way your car was dyno'd, which happened to my car once, (2) there is some problem with your car that is restricting the power somehow, or (3) Amuse parts suck.

Build quality aside, you can't sell performance parts that don't add performance. 1whp is easily w/in the dyno's error range, so effectively you gained nothing. For the money you spend on those parts, I would have another shop do a before & after dyno comparison to make sure.

For instance, I went to one shop when I got my prototype RS*R 70mm single exhaust put on, and the dyno showed that I lost 2whp. However, they left the emergency brake on on the only "after" run, so my car would only peak out around 190whp. I had another shop do a before/after dyno w/ the exact same exhaust, and I picked up 9whp peak and almost 15whp in the midrange. I don't know if something like that happened to you or not, but I would be furious if I got 1whp for $6900.
