Owners who have purchased ASM products from us or any authorized ASM dealer will be covered. Authorized dealers are able to trace exactly which batch problematic products came from to diagnose issues. In the past we have even commissioned a small production run of ASM 70mm Titanium exhausts AFTER they were discontinued to replace defective ones. Although it later determined there was nothing defective with the Titanium exhausts after all, they were simply damaged from other factors.
ok, for example. Mine was not purchased through GoTuning, but is probably part of that bad batch, which i am pretty sure somewhere on the exhaust itself their is a serial number or batch number. Will i be covered? Even if it wasn't purchased through GoTuning. At the end of the day it still came from the same factory and it is still part of that "bad" batch. Any help is appreciated, and i thank you Tommy for looking into the issue.

If it wasn't purchased through us or an authorized dealer, there is no way for us to determine exactly which batch it came from. There are no serial numbers on the exhausts, only on the body parts. We really can only speak for ourselves in covering warranty issues. We cannot speak on behalf of whoever you purchased the exhaust from. There also hasn't been any conclusive evidence there was anything wrong with the exhausts to begin with. Since the rattling has gone away on some of the claimed problematic exhausts, it may be the initial diagnosis that the baffling material is being burned up and trapped in the resonators, which is part of the normal "break-in" process.

As we said in the beginning. The rattling is part of the break in process where the baffling material gets burned off. We have reports from customers that the rattling has either gone away or reduced significantly where it's almost unnoticeable. The rattling should cease after a few thousand miles.

Is there anyway you can assure us, the ones we buy now will be good without rattle? Just so people can build more confident in ASM exhaust again.

Since a lot of ppl probably are scared to spend $2500 on an exhaust...after hearing these stories...

Even though, Go Tuning is taking care of customers by replacing the exhaust. Still, a customer buying a $2500 exhaust should not have to go through all these.

ASM quality is usually top notch... this is very unusual for them. Hopefully, things get cleared up again soon...
