The revision made to the ASM exhaust in 08 had some reinforcement added to the baffle of the resonator. I'm assuming that ASM didn't just do it for kicks and the cracking of the resonator baffle was a known issue.

1st gen version 70mm here with no rattles, sorry to hear about the rattling issue. I had a JIC Ti and Magnaflow Ti that had the resonator rattle issue the ghetto noise made me not look forward to driving the S
