Original owners and even 2nd hand owners with proper documentation that purchased through authorized dealer networks will be covered if products are deemed defective.

We (as a distributor) cannot be liable to parts purchased from non-authorized sources or grey-marketers. This policy applies to almost all consumer products. It's like buying a digital camera at the swap meet and trying to exchange it at Best Buy.
I understand your predicament- I misspoke and misinterpreted the post. I'm happy to hear shops/ sponsors are staying on top of this and happily surprised that you are extending the warranty to second hand buyers, with proper documentation. Buying a premium part and providing less then premium service can be frustrating to hear about, and always manages to ruffle my feathers. Glad to see this forum has upstanding sponsors who provide excellent customer service.

My micro mind has a difficult time seeing things en-macro. A piece such as an ASM exhaust seemed to me of something of a rarity; difficult and to much of a hassle to stock and attain for "gray market" shops, whose specialty is typically "gray market" parts (non ASM). My mind said "As long as its authentic, cover it." I see both sides of the coin now. At least owners (ones not under warranty) know they can repair the item for a relatively small sum, at least when compared to the exhaust.

Keep up the good work Tommy.

J's 70RR doesn't have resonator haha
No resonator But I'm not sure if I'd want a $$$ asm and have issues with the resonator I'm probably gonna go with asm because they are one of the best in craftsmanship.

to tommy for staying on top of things

Bah, there are a few used asm 70mm for sale right now but the more of these owners surfacing with rattle problems makes it discouraging for me. I really want one due to its low decibel/performance but dang!
