Thanks man! You could probably run a low amount of boost like it is, with a slightly (1mm) thicker headgasket or just oem H22A pistons. I believe the oem pistons are 11:1 where mine are 11.5:1. This is all dependent on the tune, of course. As far as the redline goes, I talked to someone with an IP 2.5L (thanks again Eric) and found out a lot of info early on. Plus, I took a cue from the redline Honda set on the F22. And don't worry, no criticism read.
And I'm, still watching your thread. Even though I don't have an S2k anymore...I'm excited to see how everything turns out for you. BTW, to those interested in strokers...there is ONE cheap one available. And that is mine...don't dirty this thread anymore than I already have just click the link in my sig.

kial, also what intake and exhaust set up are you currently using? are you looking to have to change either of them?

Stock intake. Stock header for now until I can find a used one at a decent price or can justify spending $1200 on a header.

stock catback also? are you sticking with the stock intake and catback and just planning on getting a header? i didn't know if the extra .4 L would make a need for a change of exhaust.

Hey, just wanted to say great job so far on the engine build. I just recently burned the tops of my pistons pretty bad so I'll be doing a rebuild soon and I'm debating weather to go 2.5L inline pro kit or a custom build like yours. I'll wait to see your result then make a decision. CANT WAIT FOR THE FINAL PRODUCT!

Just a thought... but has anyone tried to use the K24 flywheel with the S2K clutch? what are the differences in the flywheel diameter? So the idea here is instead of machining the K24 crank... Use the K24 flywheel and see if the S2K clutch bolts up or similar in diameter where you can perhaps just drill and tap new pressure plate bolt holes.

I'd try, but I don't have a spare S2k clutch and flywheel kicking around. Hm... Now this is intriguging... anyone?

i believe the reason for using the k24 crank is to create the extra .4L of stroke in the f20 block with the h22 pistons/rods, which is why the k24 crank has to be machined, so it will work in the f20 block. what you are talking about has to do with the transmission.

please correct me if i'm wrong here guys, this is just my $.02. by no means am i any mechanic.
