So how are you keeping those areas cool now?

Is there a way to keep the squirters?

I'm not doing anything to compensate for them, so I guess you could say that I'm not keeping them any cooler than the air pumping underneath them. B, H, K motors all use them in one form or another. You will find many people who have taken them out of non-f motors with no problem.

I'm sure that you could modify the squirters if you really wanted to, maybe shortening the nozzle or altering the direction of the nozzle to prevent it from being hit by a rod, I simply didn't want to.

tracked s2k's run their oil temps up to 260 degrees. That's why oil squirters are so important. If you plan to run your car like that an oil cooler will keep everything safe. Oil squirters are more variable in your motor. Endyn doesn't use them in any built motors.

I'm guessing everything is still running just fine?

How many miles do you think you have on it so far?

Yeah, everything's running really well and I have close to 11k miles on it. I pulled the oil pan this weekend and there was nothing out of the ordinary. The cylinder walls looked good too.

I ran most of the wiring for my PLX wideband too. I only have the power/ground connections to make and the ELD to tap. My cams are sitting in a box in my garage waiting to go in. Hopefully, I'll be able to get them in soon and get back to the dyno.
