Alpha N is basically like being carbed. You have two metrics with Alpha N, TPS and RPM. Thats it. Much like a carburetor your tune really is only close to perfect in the conditions it it tuned in. With manifold absolute pressure and air inlet temperature, this is far easier to tune and can compensate for pressure differential due to altitude, temperature, weather, etc. long story short, speed density runs much better in most conditions and is easier to tune, but it can be hard to get a good common MAP reading between all of the throttles.
so how are the itb's tuned with speed density? like what is it? finding the vacuum pressure and then tuning it based on those numbers?
