New Clutch needed...

I have the clutchmasters stage 3 and their lightweight flywheel. The car drives better than stock. while retaining the same pedal pressure as stock with way faster response.

Lightened flywheel will help the car rev faster but the problem isn't torque loose, it's the ability for the car to loose more rev's between shifts if you take too long shifting as the less weight allows the motor to drop RPM faster. IMO, Gears and lightweight flywheel are a perfect match in any S2000.

BTW Jonathan, are you buying the $2400+ ORC clutch that BPA sells?

I have an odd question installed the Exedy Stage 3 Hyper single six puck clutch with a lightweight flywheel and in less than a 2 weeks the starter bendix chewed off some of the teeth on the flywheel and dam near locked the motor can anyone offer any explanations as to how this may have happened thanks

yes, i think that is what i am going to go with... it seems to be the clutch of choice for a lot of high end japanese tuners/race teams... call me a sucker. but whatever. why, do you have experience with it? any feedback, personal or known second hand would be appreciated. thanks.
