if it's a new system, i think your just burning off some of the gaskets. (which is normal) i got the 70mm system, and it was like that for a few days. and if your running a testpipe, then it's going to smell for a long time

 

Possibly the bumper, but when I installed my Invidia I got a lot of white smoke and a funk coming out for a few days. It was just some of the powder in the pipes burning off/getting blown out. Hopefully something like that is all it is

 

The smell will indeed go away after 200 miles (you'll also notice that the bumper immediately above the can has also melted away )

 

I had a nasty burning smell when i installed my Amuse R1 single for around a hundred miles or so. It smelled like burnt hair or plastic but went away.

 

Just the mouse living in the muffler.

 

don't worry,, i think it's just the burned lube oil used to install the exhaust
