Pretty low turn out (51) due to the rain forecast.

Congrats Tommy on 4th FTD, after a Kart (!!!), a well driven Lingenfelter Corvette, and that damn Miata. Good Job Tommy. Unfortunately my 40.7 (6th FTD)wasn't counted as it was on a later run. Still, I placed very well for the amount of driving I've been doing lately (pulled 9th FTD with my 41.7 on my second AutoX, ever.) It was great seeing Uncoolron and The Calf out there.

Anyone aware of anything sooner than AX Inc or CDC on 11 August?
I think there's a Mazda Club event at Bowie on the 29th

Tommy is definitely at SCCA Regional level skillz, good Job! Monch you are a natural at this so you should see where this will take you. You did great man! Calf actualy did good too, he just need to let it out. It was good seeing everyone.

I unfortunately did bad but the good news is the car performed great! I just need to learn how to drive her properly.

Unfortunately I can't make either of those events. I'm military, and it takes an act of God for me to go farther than 100 miles without being on official leave (yes, I have to take vacation days on the weekend, in order to do whatever I want.)

I'm hoping to be able to make VMSC's school later this month. I did the Level 1 school with WDCR SCCA and wasn't impressed. (Probably would have been better if I could have stayed the whole day and had a different instructor for the afternoon... but again, the military stole my weekend due to the storms we had).

Travelling a distance for over 100 miles radius you can always apply for milage pass and you should be legaly covered.

What happened at the school besides the storm?

Yes, that's right Tommy, that is awesome! My 40.72 would put me at 41.53 index time, good enough for 4th. I think I'll take it, LOL.

CDC is at James Wood HS in Winchester Saturday July 28th. We are offering the popular $10 discount on the second slot. The last event a member would have gotten 16 runs for $50 and the last event at Winchester a double slot would give you 18 runs!
