So I'm heading to my first auto-x with the S next weekend. I acquired a second set of AP1 stockers, and have some RS3s for them. I'll be running BS at FedEX next weekend. Anybody else coming out for it?

We forum members will be there in STR and BS. You should consider RBS / RTR for classing i you will be on RS3s in a BS car though.. It will be HARD to compete without some R-Comp tire in straight BS. If you want a bigger class than BS, you could just come in as STR, but your best bet is likely to be RBS in the RTR class...

Figured I might as well ask here too - anyone know of any event in a reasonable driving distance from DC that will be on August 12? (August 11 = Autocrossers Inc)

There is an "MSNE" (??) at the Meadowlands and something at Verona but I'm wondering if I am missing something.

I recently entered a SCCA Solo event here in Va Beach (pungo airfield). This will be my first Autocross event in the four years ive owned my S2000. After reading the rules of the different classes I hope I chose the correct class. STX, I have Ksport controll pro suspension and Enkei PF01ss in 17x8/17x9 the tires are Federal 595ss 245/40(f) 255/40(r). Everything else on the car is stock.

I hope to see some of you guys out there or atleast at another SCCA event!

 

S2000 isn't legal for Stx....you are in STR.


The Pro in Toledo was fun, but it was a long event. I never put down a decent run on one side, and my co-driver got past me on his last run to win the Bump 1 class. Of course I then went out and put down some smokers in the bonus challenge that would have pretty easily won it. Oh well.
