Anyone else going to the NASA event in two weekends, or just me?

Also, do we have to worry about the return of the swarms of cicadas this year?

I am working at SP on Sunday so I can't make that weekend.

I'll be hitting Shenandoah for the Sunday of the TrackDaze event. My roll-bar install is going own next week if anybody is interested.
I'll be in the AP2 wearing AP1 wheels; I have a set and a half of RS-3s from my old car that I need to kill before they become my winter wheels like they're supposed to be.
Hopefully 4 or 5 track days and a few autocrosses is enough to kill them this summer.
Hey guys!
So I've participated in SCCA instructor clinic this last weekend at Shenandoah. The instructor clinic was on Saturday, and I've instructed my first student on sunday. This was very exiting, to be able to teach someone how to drive and see the progress in that student's driving throughout the day. What made it even more enjoyable, is the fact that student's car was Fr-s. Nice little car, very balanced and a bit underpowered. With tracktion control on, the car was very safe and predictable on the track. It was student's very first time on the track, and by the looks of it, he enjoyed it quite a lot!
On the other note, I've bend my driver side RPF-1 while hitting the curbing right before the bridge (high speed turn before you go over the hill). Surprizingly, the tire looks fine and there was no vibrations as I drove back home. The steering wheel was a tiny bit off and when I trided to put the car on the lift at home the side of the bent rim was sitting a bit lower then the other side... I took the wheels off and did some measurements of the suspension...nothing seemed to be off. I'll replace the wheel and put it on the alignment rack to see how it looks... I wanted to dial in more camber on the front anyways
Saw one guy with the red AP2 who was doing Time Trials, that's about it...

I saw that on facebook and I still don't really understand how the curbing bent a wheel. How low were you running your tire pressures?
*edit* Apparently RFP1s are really easy to bend.
