You can see how I take the trigger at around 2:20 yea.. the car was very very loose.
Haha nice little drift around that turn. That seems kind of surprising it's that loose. You were running stock tire sizes correct? I'm sure you checked tire pressure. Definitely looks like the rear is moving a lot in that video..

My preference is to run no rear bar at the auto-x & track.
Interesting, you are the first person I've heard say they don't run a rear bar at the track.
I remember Mani disconnected his once, but I don't remember the result. Someone else probably does.

Definitely not stock tire size. I was running a wonky setup I got from Skip. It was all kinds of messed up which is why I didn't want to try and tune on it. The next track day, I'll bring a proper square set up. Pressures were good, ~35/36 hot probably could have gone a little lower, but wouldn't have made too much difference.

I was running 17x7.5 Volks in the front with what I though were two 245/40/17s, but one turned out to be a 235. In the rear I had two 16x8 NSX wheels with 245/??/16s on them. Not ideal.

I'm faster without it at Summit. I use it at VIR.

Tell me about it.. after having a hit of the crack, er.. track, I'm hooked. It was like my first taste of boost over a decade ago.. it didn't end well.

Be careful with the Porsche guys, they require a lot of pre-event tech stuff. Not easy to track with at all but a good group of guys.

I ran for over a year with no rear sway bar and my lap times plateaued and I was lifting the front inside wheel off the ground in some corners so I hooked it back up and dropped from the 124's on Summit main to a 121.7. My driving style needs a rear bar but I would like to try a lighter bar than the 2001 AP1 bar I have. I have been considering trying the Miata front bar a lot of guys are using. Skip ran rear bar-less for a while too.

I also run a higher (than normal) spring rate in the rear.. i.e. 800lbs F / 750lbs R. I just don't like the coupled rear end.

It's good to see the big S2000 turnout for the Track Daze Shenandoah event. I was out of the country so I couldn't make it. Hope to do the next Track Daze event though. Sounds like you guys had a great time.

I am running 800/700 so I'll definitely try it. Apparently the fast guys do sometimes run no rear bar on the track and I just wasn't paying attention
