Ya that doesn't sound good and sounds like the likelihood of things being ready for may 10th are 50/50 at best.

 

I emailed TNIA and this is the response:

 

I just got an email from SCCA saying they were canceling there Memorial Day event at Dominion because of the issues. I'm assuming that means the TNIA event is going to be canceled as well.

 

Ya seems very unlikely it'll be on. All I can say is Dominion. The track was supposed to open last year.. I might have to do Sunday only at Shenandoah on May 15th..

 

Guess I should have gone to NJMP today instead. Oh well, maybe next time.

 

Already cancelling the Memorial Day event?!

Look, I won't go so far as to say F them. I am happy for a new venue and will be glad to give them a shot after the get the bumps ironed out. Mile in their shoes and all that.

 

Nah, I say F em. It was supposed to be open last year. The only logical assumption is lots of wang holding.

 

I signed up for Shenandoah w/ Trackdaze May 15th (Sunday only). Hopefully I'll see some folks out there.

I think Dave and Derek will be instructing, so if there are any novices that are going, probably wouldn't hurt if you could ask them to get one of these guys to instruct you.

 

Helmet acquired. Man those things are expensive. But, so is my head.

I may stop by on May 15. I will be celebrating my birthday Saturday night in Charlestown.

Still have my fingers crossed about TNIA but not very optimistic.
