I don't know if you have decided yet or not, but I always love going to Zola's. My cousin is a sous chef there and I find that place to be excellent in service and on flavor. They are not too exotic in their foods, the just put a new spin on things. Here is the website if you want to check it out: www.zoladc.com . Another cool thing is it is in the same building as the Spy Museum (which is awesome) so they can go there before the dinner and make a day of it. I hope this helps.

^ Yes, The Capital Grille on Penn Ave. They have valet parking. I have not personally been to Restaurant Eve, but it gets rave reviews. If you choose Restaurant Eve, make sure they make reservations for the Tasting Room rather than the Bistro.

, the Tasting Room at Restaurant Eve is a fantastic choice especially if they're looking for something close by given their schedule. It's close to the $200 mark depending on wine.

Let us know how their dinner goes

I've been to the Capital Grille in Tysons on several occasions, and it's personally my favorite restaurant in the DC metro area. They do have valet parking as well.

Since your brother is a newlywed, he's gonna need to get out of the house to ask himself why the hell he decided to get married. If Fat Tuesday is still in Alexandria (or was that Arlington?), he could forget he even has a wife after a few frozen drinks.
