Default defogger connection to hardtop

do I need to buy special wiring to connect the defogger ?

if not, can anybody show me how to connect it if there is already an existing wire on the vehicle ?

thanks in advance.

There's an access panel for it on the passenger side trim piece if I remember correctly. Once you take off the trim, you will a wire hanging out by itself and you simply push it up through the access piece, secure it with the grommet, and you're golden.

Not 100% sure, but fairly sure it's on the driver's side. One thing's for certain... it's on one of the two sides we mentioned.

The pigtail on the hardtop is on the left, so driver's side is a good place to start.
