If I may point something out...

I run Toyo RA-1's. I have what is generally considered to be a very good, competition grade suspension on my car. You guys STILL kick my ass... I was dead last in 80% of all of the auto-x's last season. There were only a few where I was ahead of other S2k owners.

Like it really matters all THAT much?

I know you guys like to split hundredths of seconds but come on...

Anywho... Just my $.02
Actually Jeff, it does matter. They're telling a guy that buys a stock S2000 or any other sports-type car that their OEM tires will cost them either in assessment or in so much as they will have to spend more on tires to be competitive despite being showroom stock.

Yeah, i'm gonna trailer my car up north for a few minutes of parking lot runs. I might make it to a couple events to take pictures of fellow NERDs though.
There are several who trailer their Cobras to the CDC events. There's even a guy who trailers his old Dodge??? to the event.

If you come up to take pics, you can just drive up in your S and register for the event too. You can just do the morning runs if you want.

This is good information!! I need to get an alignment this season.
For your reference, Mani... I am running the P-Tuning UK Alignment. I didn't ask for any particular settings other than that.

That's so that he knows he has a way to get it home after it falls apart.

That is because a) it is barely street legal and b) it probably wouldn't survive the trip.

I see i got my panties in a wad for nothing. 140 would be a street tire. 139 and lower would be an R-comp if they go by most every other sanctioning body.

Dude, are you serious? No one trailers a 28' enclosed trailer to an autox. Those guys are using trailers that weigh half as much as mine, not to mention that their cars are probably half the weight of my car.

I ain't driving my car 2.5 hrs to autox... sorry.
