Default NoVA Emissions

I moved out to Manassas about six months ago, and I'm due for renewing my registration. I've got to get an emissions test and I'm wondering whether I'll pass with a TP + CEL Fix? Do they do a visual check usually?

I would just throw the cat back on but it seems to have gotten lost in the move.

there's a place on rt. 50 across the street from Dr. Wash and Advanced Auto parts. the shell gas station. He does a pretty good job and from experience haven't seen him do a visual check. I would call just to check.

Someone could probably smell you and determine if you do/don't use TP.

This.

I would just put the cat back in, do the test and then put your test pipe back on.

Another reason why I love SOVA.

I would definitely just throw the cat back on, but I can't find it after the move. I'll need to check for sure, but I don't usually get a strong odor from my exhaust.

Does anyone have a cat I can borrow for the day?

Alright, I found my cat and got my emissions done. I told the guy about my test pipe and he told me I would've failed had I not replaced it, he did check under the car. *shrug*

Anyways, it just came to my attention that I also need a safety inspection?! Anything I should know before I go get it? The guy doing my emissions told me coilovers warrant a rejection sometimes, anyone have first hand experience with this?

Usually only if they're done wrong or leaking. Sometimes if you're too low.

You should be fine.
