you should have asked that in the same thread

but since it's here, i haven't ran into any problems yet. but it would have to be pretty cold for it to do damage

it's something like below 40degrees or something around that area.. it's wise not to drop it.... it can crack or even pop out if it's to cold...

DO NOT LOWER IT WHEN IT'S COLD OUT!!!!!!!

I did so and it cracked right down the middle! The lowest temp I would do it in is ~50F.

On the flip side though....it gave me the chance to do the glass top conversion

I wont pay you if im wrong, but griotts garage plastic polish (what they sell at porsche dealerships) allows you to lower it at any temp without it cracking. I've put it up and down in every temp down to 0. Never tried in negative numbers...the heater isnt that good I'm sure its still not recommended, but it works great. Switch to glass top

Not that I'm a fan of cold weather let alone dropping the top in anything below maybe 60-65 degrees, but what I usually do is just put my hand on the plastic and just apply some force to see how flexible it is. If it feels too stiff, then obviously it would crack if its forced to flex...

I do the exact same thing every morning. The colder it is the harder it gets. Good advice in my opinion.
