I haven't done much research for modding, but the engine and drivetrain should be identical. As far as I can tell, it's just the body that's different - i.e. the "wagon" aspect and the fact that the fenders don't carry that same spiffy squarish look that the sedans have.

I really like that aggressive look of the sedan, but I don't know how that would translate to the wagon. *shrug* no big deal, I suppose.

More and more I'm thinking of going with the black. My GSR was black and it was a pain to keep clean, but it sure looks good - especially if I get the windows tinted. What do ya think? legal up front and 10% around the rest?

Thanks again and happy merry christwanzaunnukah.

WRX FUGLY! Subaru's are for women who like wearing comfortable shoes.

What woman doesn't like wearing comfortable shoes?

Oh, and try telling that to Tommi Makinen, Petter Solberg and the number of other drivers that have lead Subaru to so many World Rally Championships. Driving shoes AREN'T particularly comfortable...

I'm not fond of the headlights, but it's a great car. Come to think of it, I wasn't fond of the headlights on my GSR either, but I grew to like them, or at least tolerate them.

Oh, and in the spirit of the season (and day, no less) Merry Christmas.

Hallo. After a few essential mods (short shifter and knob) I love my WRX. And ya, I did do my research, and it is a correct statement to say that there are more mods for the sedan than the wagon. Not many, but there are subtle differences between the two cars that some complain about that affects mods. Specifically, the fenders on the wagon are not flared. So, the rear suspension is setup slightly different. I don't recall exactly, but I think a specific brand of coilovers aren't available for the wagon. Also, the rear STB is gonna be different. Prolly a few more differences, so check i-club if you really wanna know.

BTW, I love my WRX, had a sh1tload of fun with it in the unplowed snow, and don't regret losing the S2000 at all
