This is partially true, and not so true.....

Yes, the Honda OEM glass for the S2000 is super soft - it was made that way for a reason. In a class for the 2003 Accord introduction a Honda Rep told us that the Accord glass was made softer for safety. It is softer because it somehow works along with the ABS system (I don't remember the particulars). The new Accord has a lot of technology derived from the research of the S2000 and NSX; which, both have soft glass that apparently works along with the ABS system. It didn't make a whole lot of sense to me then, and it sure doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me now.

For what it is worth - I will be replacing my windshield with aftermarket (harder) glass when the time comes - who needs ABS anyway just kidding....

And like Andy said - check to make sure your price quotes include the S2000 specific windshield molding!
