I had a hard time even getting my stock header back on. It took me like 30 minutes to get it started. The only advice I have is hook it to the head before you hook it to the exhaust.

Its tricky. It has to be at just the right angle which can be difficult to find. I was about to give up when mine miraculously went ight into place. Hang in there...it'll go.

yep what mpetus said. Jack the car up and it should slide right out or up, you just need to do it at the right angle.

If its anything like my header install, I had to take off the motor mount and use the scissor jack between the engine and chassis so I could fit my header in.

The stock header should easily go in and out at the right angle, but many aftermarket ones dont.

I don't know if I'd call it hard, just an inconvenience. s2kmike helped me out and he can vouch that it needed some force to be pushed to fit the header in.

EDIT: Now that I look back, I think you may have been talking to someone else.
