Default Wash and Detail

So I got an opportunity to meet AstroPhsx (Brent) the other day. I took the car to a job site about 250 miles away and as soon as I got back I met up with him. Well as soon as he saw it I am sure his first thought was, What a piece of crap. The car was filthy, both the interior and exterior were covered in dust. So I took it home and decided it needed a good detail. I started by using a very potent cleaner on the paint in hopes of removing all of the wax the previous owner put on. The cleaner took some of it off but left bad streaks and spots. So I tried Prepsol which worked but not well. I ended up getting mad and pulled out the sand paper. I ended up sanding the entire car with 1500 then 2000. I am now working on the polishing and I thought I would see how everyone else cleans theirs?

As I told Brent, I have made an oath to never wax a black car long ago. I usually polish the car by hand a few times a year with Meguiare

On the S, I use:

Paint - Zaino soap to clean and then Zaino Z-2 PRO polish and sometimes their Z-5 PRO polish.
Top - 303
Wheels - Zaino soap to clean (with some help from my little WalMart lugnut brush and EZ Detail Brush)
Tires - Zaino soap to clean and then Black Magic tire foam
Leather - 303
Interior Trim - 303
Glass - Sprayway glass cleaner and RainX

Lots of good info in the Wash and Wax forum.

Yep, but I figured I would see what everyone around here thinks.

I use 303 convertible top cleaner and then put on two coats of 303 protectant to get a nice dark black.
