I took a look at the Canon S30 today, and it looks Sweet!
I had considered the Elph because I keep hearing many good things about it. However I think the Canon will work fine since all I'm looking for is something compact, and I like the fact that the lense is behind a door.
If it can be broken,,, I'm the man to do it.

There is an old saying about fire fighters,,,, "give three firefighters each a bowling ball, and one will lose it,,, one will break it,,, and one will impregnate it".

My little Nikon is a real 3mp also. I see marketing propaganda for 5mp SLR's and up but wonder how much of that was actual image and how much was interpolation.

Don't matter tho, I love the little Nikon and will keep it (if I can find it!).

 

I guess its just the use the I have for the camera but I am very very happy! I actually got to use my camera in a good way to send something back that was defective and e-mailed them a picture of the problem! Cool hu?

I have the Cannon A20 2.1 mp. I set the resolution to 1040X ~~~ what ever that is not the full 1600X ~~~~ Just because I don't want to have to resize the picture every time I take a picture. The resolution is set to Super Fine. It takes great pictures!!!!!

Most all have been indoor with the flash. I blew through a set of batteries in like 10 shots. Stuck the rechargabes in and like OMG I dunno how many pictures I have gotten 99% with the flash. The red batterie light is on but it just keeps taking pictures!
