F' the PC too. I used to have one and it is just too damned slow. I like detailing. It is fun and relaxng, but the ammount of time/effort needed to do a really good swirl removal is just not worth it IMO.

Someone here once mentioned a time/cost analysis. With the ammount of money I can make per hour on overtime or doing my powdercoating, I am losing way too much by wasting my time *trying* to polish the paint and still not end up with a result that a pro would.

I will still wash/wax and detail it, just no more swirl removing for me. I am going to drop it off to a friend of the family that owns a detailing business. I had just been to stuborn up until now.

It's not about car placement left to right, it's about front to rear. The equalizer bars shift that weight back and lessen the load on the trailer hitch.
Yup!

And the difference of 1" to 1.5" is enough to go from a wonderful tow, to a tow that has too much tongue weight and the truck feels like the front wheels are not on the ground, or too little tongue weight and the truck feels like the trailer is driving, the proverbial tail is wagging the dog.

I am loving my bottle of 303!
I was only going to do the top but then... and then the seats...
I would not suggest 303 on the seats again. In fact I would suggest you get a good leather cleaner, clean the 303 off the seats, and then recondition them with a proper leather conditioner. I don't know if 303 is bad for leather, but I would not want it on my leather seats.

This is what I use, and am very happy with the results.
Great =

I do not suggest the wipes, as they seem to leave a much shinier end result, which seems to be slipperier.
Nasty =

303 says OK to use on leather. They look alot better than they did before. I think I have leather cleaner/condition also though. The ex set me up pretty well with car detail supplies.

I hope I get a chance to vacuum the car before the weekend but they are calling for rain the next two days and I really won't have time Saturday morning between 5 and 6 am.

I do have a somewhat related question though: I have alot of fine scratches in the plastic that covers the electronic readouts making it very hard to read with lights on in the sun (group drives).

Is there a way to get rid of the scratches I have or at the very least prevent it from getting any worse? I try to lightly dust that area with a soft clean cloth after every drive but that does not seem to have helped
