Well compared to the TV of today YES it's totally is corny and low tech but back in 66 it was really pretty cutting edge
Censorship was alot tighter than it is today and many of the things you see in the eps that you think nothing of were pretty risque for then... low cut clothing, a black woman and white man kissing, alot of implied sex (Kirk was a lucky guy)
All common stuff today but in 1966 it wasn't
I have respect for Roddenbury's work and legacy even if some of the individual shows were kinda silly

I got some great news this morning! I was out washing the lowers on the S with my little bucket of water and the landlady came out and said feel free to use the hose anytime!!! Woo Hoo!
No more $10 a pop to wash the car
I no longer have to choose between clean clothes or a clean S
Of course after I had spent 20 minutes cleaning the worst of the mud and drying off the water, it started to rain again
I did get mostly top down on my CT trip today though - it hit 75 in CT with sunny and blue skies - LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
