I got laid off once... I loved it... I hated the job anyway and I got 13 weeks severance pay with paid insurance!

I went back to school for a semester, took full time load of classes including some programming stuff, and ended up with a much better job than I had before making more money

Good morning all!

Sounds like this damn site was down again...

Ellen, great news, that will make washing the S way more fun, now you can wash and consume beer at the same time.

I loved my StarTAC phone. When I got my Razr I kept it, it is on display i my house, next to one of my other costly dinasours, my 35mm film SLR.

I guess I better clean the parts that show the most first before the beer kicks in

Site was down both Sat & Sun morning and again today. No explanation in the Announcements area either.

I had a StarTAC up until a few weeks ago. I was cleaning out my old desk and found it. Still powered up and since I could not figure out how to erase the memory, it went out with a "bang"

First I broke it in 2 pieces. Then I threw it against the driveway in a fit of rage. Then I started jumping up and down on the biggest pieces left.

It then took me 10 minutes or so to gather up all the pieces to put in a bag to throw away.

I could have shot it with my gun, but it was not worth driving up to a remote location just to shoot to pieces a 10 year old phone

On this I have to disagree, shooting things is always fun.
