Default What is this "Maint Req" lite that keep blinking......

all my fluids are fine. Just changed may oil and filter. The light started flashing about 3700 miles after the last oil change. Is it just to remind you to change the oil or do you schedualed maintance? If so how do I get rid of it?

Thanks for any info.

Check the library under Common questions , maintenance, Reset Maint. Lite for procedure to shut off. Usually lite is only a reminder.

You can check you ower's manual on what maintenance needs to be done.

As for resetting it, make sure your car key is in the "off" position; push and hold the trip button for several seconds while you turn your key to the "on" position. That's it! Next time you start your car, the maintenance light shouldn't blink anymore...until next maintenance interval.

Thanks! I didn't get a owners manual with my car when I bought it new. I am still trying to get one from the dealership but I seems like I am asking too much. What a joke.

Hold the button until the light stops flashing...THAT solves it.

Do you know where the secret compartment it? A lot of dealerships put the manuals and radio code card in there.
