Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone on here has a spare driver side axle that I can buy tonight. I'm leaving for a divisional auto-x tomorrow afternoon and would really like to drive my car at this event.

False alarm, haha. A loose axle nut sounds almost exactly like a broken/breaking CV joint.

Also when is the next time your doing an auto-x in town?

 

These axle nuts drive me crazy sometimes. I was getting the nasty pop from mine last summer. I ordered a bag of new axle nuts and torqued them to Honda's higher spec and they still loosen up.

 

We'll see about the lapping day. I may just cruise out there and instruct. I need new rotors before I could comfortably lap my car...way past the machinable thickness.
