Coming Hom: NY!
Ok So Im originally from the Upstate crew and moved to Florida a few years ago and now my g/f is going to school back up in NY. We'll be moving to the westchester area actually (I think Thornwood is where we'll be for a few months at a friends until we find a place).
But here's the problem. There's no Winter beater and with the move I cant really afford to pick up a winter beater So I need to "winterize" the S.
Aside from hardcore Snow Tires what else can I do to make it drivable for a few months (We'll be moving up feb 1). Its a Stock 01.
I thought:
-Hardcore snow Tires
-Mugen CF hardtop
-Remote Starter ( so I can warm it up )
I have rear defroster glass but Its not hooked up (Does anyone know how to do that or where a DIY is on that?)
Im looking forward to move and meeting up with some metro S2k guys come spring

well all you really need are the snow tires. Soft top isn't that bad, and i doubt very much it will collapse from snow. Remote starter is ok if you remember to leave the car in neutral, but if you have to park on a slope, than its a waste imo.
