RPM Motorsports review
Hey everyone, my motor recently died on me due to oil starvation and a spun bearing. After a bunch of research I decided on RPM Motorsports in Queens Village NY. Since they did such a great job for me, I figured I'd let you all know about the place. The owner, Tommie, used to own an S2000, and they specialize in Hondas. Here's the Google Review I wrote for them (I wasn't compensated or discounted in any way for this review, just want to share a good experience with you guys):

These guys are awesome. I needed to get a motor swap done for my track-focused Honda S2000 and asked some of the local JDM motor importers who they recommended. One of the importers mentioned RPM, and people on the S2000 forums said they had good experiences with them.
I am super happy with my choice. RPM specializes in Honda's and has a bunch of experience with track cars. They were very responsive and proactive in talking me through the whole process. I called them up all the time to ask questions and get recommendations and they were helpful every time. When I got the car back, it was in great shape. They did an excellent job.
While my car was there, there was also a late model GTR, R34 Skyline, 240Z, AE86, and S14 all getting work done there. These are all enthusiast cars, and enthusiasts are particular about who works on their cars. I'm sure they trusted RPM for the same reasons I trusted them.

I like the light setup he has on your car. That' some crazy intake setup you have.
Is your passenger side fender OK? I cringed when I saw the keys hanging of his belt and the fact that he was wearing an exposed belt.
Good to hear about your good experience.

Car looks super clean. AX or road course? Who do you track with?

Thanks man. I've been autocrossing with NNJR, but I've been trying to get it ready for track days. I'll be doing some Track Night in America events, and then maybe some NASA NE events.

I've been there several times for work on my son's Z car. They're great! I met Tommie one day when we were both driving down Queens Blvd topdown after some S2000 talk he gave me his card .
Highly recommended Queens spot

RPM is the truth!
I remember 20+years ago, me, my boy Ray Wong and our old car club "CCMS", all used to get our cars worked on by them. They've been in the game for a long time and definitely know their stuff!

That's how I got it from the previous owner. It's basically a large insulated conduit to the fender with the goal of pulling in cool air. I intend to replace it with a K&N FIPK.
