Unhappy Throw Out Bearing

I have a quick question...

My ACT Clutch Kit and ACT ProLite Flywheel came in today, but no throw out bearing. There was a note with it that said to use the OE bearings with this setup, but was wondering if I should purchase a new OE one to put in when I do the clutch and flywheel? Im a noob when it comes to Honda's. I am coming from the DSM world and when I did my clutch in my GSX there was a throw out bearing that came with my Clutch Kit. Thanks in advance for replying!!

Honda quoted me at $220 for 1 today...redic!!

If your car was fairly new with low mileage maybe you could get away with the old bearing, but I still wouldn't chance it. Spending the extra $100 is better than having to take the transmission off again.

You need both bearings, pilot for the flywheel and throwout.. I wouldn't recommend the ACT PP, ACT street disc and light weight flywheel. This combo has been known to produce tons of decel buzz. Either go with an OEM disc or OEM Ap1 flywheel.

Even if my car had 8k miles on it I would still replace the throwout bearing and flywheel Pilot bearing. Not worth the risk
I agree where ever your getting that price quote is a huge ripoff
throwout is around 110

this is not something that you play games with. i promise you that what ever its going for 200 is worth peace of mind. some things you can skimp on, for instance a ebay lip or something like that but not a TB.
