Fwiw, 30k is more than w pay teachers here in NC.

 

Fire him and hire someone else at $18k a year.

 

that is about 8-9 an hour job around here...........my friend just got job as a teacher, starting out at 31k

 

Teachers, police and firemen some of the most under paid professions around...

 

Teachers are NOT underpaid. Good teachers maybe, but there are fewer of those all the time. WHen I tutored at a local high school, two teachers worked thieir butts off and cared, the other hundred gave assignments out of a purchased educational package, put their feet on the desk and read magazines.

Cops can make some pretty good livings. Firemen I know nothing about their pay scale.


$30k is hard to live off of. Cleaning toilets is not glamourous. I saw on TV just last night average us hourly wage is $17 hr. Thats $35k.

TEACHERS R unpaid...I am NOT saying there are no bad teachers and I sure as hell ain't saying all cops are angels...but if ever there was a profession where money would bring the best and brightest ...

 

Wow, that's not bad! $hit, I wouldn't mind doing that as a side job. Did he get a Master's degree in Custodial Arts?
