BTW scot, I bought my F-I-L a 42" Panasonic Plasma for $1560 Shipped from onecall.com. Run perfect - no issues and still $300+ cheaper than the local stores.

i love my samsung 50" dlp, picture is great with hd-dvd and havnt had any complaints at all

also you may want to check out amazon.com, when i bought my tv they were cheaper than anywhere else

I needed it for this weekend so amazon was out.....

Costco had a great deal on one but it was going to take 2-4 weeks to get delivered.....
