$420/mo. for insurance?? That's a huge problem right there. I just turned 23 and live in NC and pay about $120/mo. for insurance. That car payment is helping you either. How close are you to D.C. if you're in No. VA? That could be why the rent is so high

I guess even if they really do make such amount, sounds like they arnt the smartest when it comes to managing it.

I dont know, really fishy when OP states they were kicked out at 16 and maraculously makes 50K a year. Decides to join an s2K forum to complain they dont know why they're so broke

Is this one of them threads where a random highschooler posts an issue to see how many replies it gets just for the hell of it?

Straight outta H.S.? I'm assuming to get into the IT field, you have to go to college. Possibly making 50k at the age of 22 or 23, yeah. I'm also stumped on how someone can make 50k at 17 or 18, possibly a parents business? Or is it really "The right place at the right time"?
yeah no kidding. made about 35k last year... id love to have an extra 15k a year to play with.

Although the kid's post is a bit arrogant, I made 50K+ (cash) at 19, and over 75 (cash) after 21......those numbers are equivalent of six figure salaries.

I was a bartender in NYC. It's entirely possible, but I wouldn't come barging into a forum advertising it. However, not knowing what the OP actually does for his 50K, can't really comment.
