50k a year...
oh, another thing: the first year earning $50k is very different from the fifth year earning $50k. the reason is after year 4 or 5, you've already bought all your furniture, the big TV, etc etc and you don't have to come up with money for it again.
HAHAHHAH this thread is becoming comedy i love it.
To OP:
When I was making 50K, My rent was 350 in SANTA MONICA (SOCAL), and insurance was 200/month in SOCAL. If i can do that here in LA, you can do better anywhere else in the nation. I go out a LOT and eat out a LOT and drink a LOT (3-4 nights a week while working 50+ hrs) and i still managed to save a good amount. You my friend need to stop thinking you're big ballin because 50K is not much, esp for someone in your shoes.

time for more pictures.

If you are looking to lower your insurance don't automatically assume a higher deductible will change much. I just switched carriers and the different between a $500 and a $2000 deductible was approximately $50 per 6 months. Not really worth it IMO.
