What's sad is all the people who don't think we should retaliate hard. I'm heartened by all the polls I've seen (even Mingsters) which show a high percentage of people believe in strong retaliation, even if it means killing civilians. I'm not in favor of killing civilians per se but let's face it, this is war, and in war civilians sometimes die. I don't want to live in fear of a nuclear or biological attack as we know is imminent if we don't destroy the threat now. Religous fanatics are the worst. They don't even have to rationalize their idiocy. They just say God, or Allah, or whoever, made them do it. They need to go.

 

This is such a cop out.

There IS right and wrong. That's all there is to it. What they did(whoever they are) was wrong...and now (whoever they are) will be punished. Period.

It is the Israeli situation and the American suuport of them that is stirring up up so much trouble in the middle east at the moment.....

Yes, you're right. Unless the US conforms its foreign policy to the satisfaction of moral dwarves, they'll kill us. What do you think we should do? It's our foreign policy, and in the case of Israel, we picked our friend based on shared values, and a common sense of right and wrong.
